For Studios

You already invest in your studio. Make the standards behind it visible.

Accreditation is not only about identifying gaps. For well-run studios, it is a way to validate the work already being done — and to create a clear framework for continued improvement.

Why studios choose accreditation

  • Independent recognition of professional practice
  • A structured framework for reviewing safety and studio systems
  • Clearer instructor qualification and development processes
  • Greater consistency as a team grows
  • A visible trust signal for clients
  • Professional differentiation in an increasingly competitive market
  • A framework for future development through Levels 1–3
  • A stronger foundation for conversations with industry partners, referring professionals and insurers

A framework for your studio

For established Pilates studios

If your studio has spent years investing in education, small-group teaching, comprehensive apparatus knowledge and individual client care, IRPSA provides a way to make that professional depth visible without requiring you to compete on trends or choreography.

For Reformer Fitness studios

If your business delivers a fitness-led Reformer experience, IRPSA provides a clear professional framework around the systems that matter: client suitability, instructor competence, supervision, equipment, operational safety and transparent communication.

The objective is not to make Reformer Fitness become Pilates. It is to ensure the model is professionally and transparently delivered.

For growing and multi-site studios

Growth makes consistency harder. Accreditation can provide a common framework for onboarding, instructor expectations, equipment processes, incident management and quality control across teams and locations.

Founding Studio Programme

IRPSA's first international cohort will work through the accreditation process during the pilot phase and provide structured feedback on clarity, practicality and implementation.

Founding Studios are not being asked to lower the bar or 'buy' founding status. They are early participants helping test the accreditation process while being assessed against the applicable IRPSA standards.
